A program established by the founders of the entity with the aim of helping children who live in extreme poverty and who do not have the resources to go to school.
Our History
We went through many difficulties in our childhood because we didn’t even have a pencil. Now what we are looking for is to be able to bring back to life a little of the opportunities that God put in our way and help these children so that they can go to school,” says Walter Montes.
Since the organization opened in Charlotte, the Happy Backpack program has seen many children smile, who for the first time in their lives have managed to see their dream come true, that of being able to study.
The boxes full of backpacks, school supplies, including the Bible and clothes, members of this faith entity, have toured several poor countries in Central America to deliver these gifts, which for months were collected in the Queen’s City.
Volunteers work on the program, who travel through different areas of Charlotte collecting school supplies, clothes, shoes and carrying the word of Our God the Father, to help make many children who need it happy.
So far, the Ministry for the Nations has delivered more than 3,000 backpacks. The goal is to see more than 500 children from different cities in Latin America smiling.
